Recipe: Black Bean Brownie

Some time ago I tried this recipe for black bean brownies and omg, it is delicious! So naturally I'll share it with all of you!

What you need:
  • 1 can (15oz) black beans
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup raw cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup of oats
  • a pinch of salt
Tip for the Dutchies here: Bij Albert Heijn verkopen ze maat'cups', super handig om te hebben als je vaak Amerikaanse recepten uitprobeert. Ook verkopen ze 'spoons'.

What you do:
Preheat the oven on F 350 (175 degrees Celcius). Put all ingredients in a food processor and process until you've got a smooth batter! Put it in an 8x8" (20x20 cm) baking dish and put it in the oven for 25 minutes.

And you're done!

A little tip:
When you've got some left over brownie and it's getting old, or you've got a lot of crumbs, don't throw it away! Put it in your bowl of Greek Yogurt with homemade granola and enjoy!
so, so goooood!
