Thrifty Finds

Last time I went last minute thrifting I found some pretty rad stuff! My mom found the little cabinet in the back, gonna paint that one over! The orange plastic plate I'm gonna use for painting!

I can't leave little planters like this, it's found a fine home here with me :)

OMG I love these! They're the perfect color and it has goldfishes on them :DIce cone bowl. Just perfect.

Gonna make candles out of these two, you'll probably see them on the blog again soon.

A fleemarket adventure: Ijhallen, Amsterdam

Thrifty Finds: The book edition

Two mondays ago I took a day off and went thrifting with my parents. I scored a lot of great stuff, boardgames, clothes, a gift for a friend, some fun bowls, but mostly books. I love books. I love to read them, I like to feel them, I like to look at them, my book collection is one of my favorite collections!

So that monday I found thes books by Jules Verne. I love the cover with the blue and gold! They're pretty old and published in Dutch, can't wait to start reading them (very carefully!).

 

I also found three books by Jules Verne in a green edition. Also in Dutch:

And I've found this awesome copy of 'De avonturen van Alice in Wonderland' (The adventures of Alice in Wonderland). It has awesome artwork in it!

 

 That's it! Next month I'm going to a huge fleemarket here in Alkmaar. Let's hope it'll be a succes too!

This time I went to a small flee market. I only found these owls and a super cute Topshop dress, but it didn't fit me, too bad.. I do love all my new owls though!

Thrifty Finds

Every last sunday of the month there is a huge flee market in Alkmaar. Last time i went there with Melissa.. We bought lots of great stuff, me for Dainty Dream, Mini-shoots, Melissa for her lamp project and we've bought much more pretty useless stuff, our favorites!
