Home made granola and yummy healthy snacks. |
A little story from their website:
One day, when Marie Marchand was extremely hungry but had no time to linger, she grabbed a pulled pork sandwich from the Frenchie Wine Bar to take away. As she ate-and-ran, she thought it might be a worthwhile proposition to offer takeaway versions of Greg’s dishes. A few chats and several nudges of fate later, Frenchie To Go was born...and a new team cooked up streetfood crafted with the homemade dedication and attention to detail so characteristic of her chef husband.
ENGLISH MEAT, S’IL VOUS PLAIT
Greg had nothing less than a crush on products from Tim Wilson, aka “The Ginger Pig”, a Yorkshire breeder renowned for supplying top-quality meats. We cook his Shorthorn beef and Tamworth pork here on site. At FTG, when it comes to meat quality, we don’t mess around.
SOMEONE ELSE’S CHEESE
We really like Oggleshield Cheddar. It comes straight from Neal’s Yard Dairy (an iconic London cheese dairy), has a subtle, irresistible caramel note and, once melted, is a thing of beauty and smells scrumptious. Who ever said that the French are the only ones who know how to make good cheese?
FISH AND VEGETABLES BY TERROIRS D’AVENIR
Most of our fish, vegetables and herbs come from our friendly neighbours at Terroirs d’Avenir, who work with small producers. Fewer middlemen and a lot more taste. Right next door on rue de Nil.
A PARISIAN COFFEE SHOP
As far as coffee goes, we leave nothing to chance. We use our special Frenchie To Go Blend made by our neighbour Hippolyte Courty from L’Arbre à Café, the milk is from Bellevaire…tasty tools that turn to magic in the skilled hands our barrista, who masters our Marzoco machine like nothing you’ve ever seen (we heart latte art).
