- 4 egg whites
- 1 scoop vanilla whey protein
- 40 grams oats
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Some butter
What you need for the topping:
- Low-fat quark (curd cheese)
- 3 tbsp mango chunks
- 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds
- Coconut grater
What you do:
- Pre-heat your waffle iron.
- Put the oats in a blender and blend to a finer powder. Add the egg whites, whey protein and baking powder and mix it until you've got a nice batter.
- Put some butter on your hot waffle iron, so your waffles will come out easily.
- Put the batter in you waffle iron, wait a couple of minutes (about 4-5 minutes) and check if they're nice and brown. Take it out and put it on a plate.
- Time for toppings! I've used a bit of low-fat quark, mango chunks and some pomegranate seeds. I finished it of with some coconut grater.
