Photo Walk: Zaanse Schans

The Zaanse Schans is one of the biggest local attractions for tourists. It's an outdoor museum with the old green houses and windmills that Zaandam is known for. People actually still live there! So when we finally had a blue sky I decided to go on a little photo walk and join the tourists in my own town. Here are the photos:

Sometimes I like to grab my camera and just wander around and make photos. This time I wanted to check out the new graffiti pieces at our local legal graffiti spot, a skatepark in Zaandam. And here are the photos:

Photo walk: Yellow

One of the things I want to do more often are 'Photo walks'. You just give yourself a theme, like a color, a shape, text, texture, light and you just go outside with your camera, walk around for a while and enjoy making photos.

For this one I choose the color yellow and I walked around the neighborhood of my cousin in San Diego and photographed everything yellow I saw.
